creativity

I have been feeling a little lack-luster lately. A little dull. A little stale.
I feel like I need to be inspired by something.
That's where you come in.
I need your ideas for a new skill I could teach myself, or something that inspires you, or just a hobby you enjoy. If you have a moment- let me know what makes you laugh, or keeps you going, or is just plain fun to do. I want to do it too. See how popular you are?
I also found this and wanted to share. Click here.
PS- I will be teaching myself a new skill within the next few weeks : "How to beging the process of potty training a small, cute, girl child" but something tells me this is not quite the stimulation I'm looking for.

Have you done any digital scrapbooking yet? I;d like to see some pages you gave done. I now mainly use Photoshop CS3 to design pages.

Well I love blogging ha ha. What I've been doing lately is putting a little book together of all of my favorite recipes growing up and now so i have them as favorites for my kids...even though I don't have any (crossing my fingers). Anyway, that's not that cool but I am having fun doing that, and I also never had a wedding book made for me b/c i wanted to make it. I just now started it but it will be nice b/c I'm making my own. Anyway good luck!!

i had a dream last night that we went on vacation together. it was a good dream. i miss you. as for the creativity thing. i'm unfortunately in the same rut. luckily for you, you're already artistic, so it will be easy for you to find something cute to do and you'll be good at it. i'm a little jealous.

I hear ya, I'm always looking for something new to try. I decided to try crocheting and I'm liking it. But now I really want to knit. I just checked out a couple crocheting tutorials online and I made a couple scarves but I'm itching for something more challenging. Of course I'm still sewing which I think is the greatest hobby because I love seeing my creations on my kiddies.

OH! Or go to Borders, let Cecily read/play in the kids section and pick up a ton of books on hobbies or crafts and see what inspires you.

Hey Wendy,
Dude you should totally try steam bending wood. I love it. I'm not sure how interested you are in woodworking in general, but it is way WAY fun. Shoot me an email if you want to look into it more.

love ya little sister,
